Day worked: May 16, 2013
Before I started working, I noticed that there were many small weeds growing around the basil and the banana trees mostly and that there were a lot of brown leaves in the sugar cane. So, the first thing I did was go for the sugar cane and take out anything brown and throw it in the dumpster. After I was done my group and I watered the garden the garden and tried to pull out as many of the tiny weeds as we could. The next group needs to keep the brown leaves on the banana trees and sugar cane down and just keep weeding. The crops are beginning to sprout but no harvesting can be done yet.
