Here is the latest iteration of the SAS Garden
Saturday, May 18, 2013
Day worked: May 15, 2013
The first thing I saw when I stepped in the garden was a mass amount of weeds around the back of the banana trees and behind the basil. I pulled out the majority of the weeds and threw them in the dumpster. After that, my group watered the garden and put the wood chips back in our "moat". The last thing we did was pull out most of the flowers that were growing on the basil. The next group needs to concentrate on the weeding and pull out the brown leaves in the sugar cane. We can't do any harvesting until the fruits\vegetables are ready.
