April 16
I worked April 16 with Gaby, Austin, and Tiana. Gaby and I worked on deweeding the compost area. The weeds there are really deep rooted, so I recommend getting a shovel and digging the weeds out by the root. Then, we worked need the sugar cane to remove the weeds. There's a lot of weeds there but be careful not to pick out the wrong things. I also recommend watering the whole garden.

What about using your compost? Are we going to get a finished & usable compost product that we can use this year or are we going to have to leave it alone until next year? Do we have some info on how a compost bin works?
