2.) date worked : May 17th
3.) things that needed to be done: I observed that the garden had a lot of small weeds that needed to be pulled
4.) some of the individual work I did was that I watered so that Nikki would have an easier time pulling out the weeds and Nina pulled the dead leaves off the sugar cane
5.) the next garden group just needs to finish up doing the small weeds but other then that the garden is looking beautiful
6.) well the only thing that is growing in the garden right now is the peanuts, and tomatoes so we could make some peanuts and make some salsa and have a pupu party

3) Observations you made initially before you started to work. - There was plants and all, but i saw a lot of small weeds.
4) What work you did individually in the garden?What work your group accomplished? - I pulled out some of the weeds. Also, Mindy watered the plants and Nina picked and pulled off the dead sugar cane leaves.
5) What you think needs to be done by the next group? - There needs to be more weeding and watering.
6) What should we do with the harvest? - Wait for the fruits/vegetables are ripe then harvest. Until then, the next garden group won't have to do any harvesting.

Garden Party
April 26, 2013
before we all started working i noticed that the sugar can was very tall. i also noticed that there were a lot of weeds that needed to be pulled. we took care of the the dead leaves from the sugar cane, weeds and all the stuff by the compose pile. we did this whole garden party as a class we accomplished a lot. the only things that needs to be done to the garden next time is that there is small weeds that need to be pulled. with the cherry tomatoes we could make some salsa.
