Garden Group Make-ups: 5/15/13
1) a picture of your group working or before and after pictures of the garden on your workday 2) Date you worked 3) Observations you made initially before you started to work. 4) What work you did individually in the garden? What work your group accomplished? 5) What you think needs to be done by the next group? 6) What should we do with the harvest?
Pictures to be posted by Mrs. Betancourt.
I worked in the garden on 5/15/13. Initially before working in the garden, I observed a lot of small weeds in a lot of small areas. I also observed tiny weeds everywhere in the garden. I lastly observed pumpkin plants, tomato plants, and sugar cane growing. Individually, I pulled out weeds from the pumpkin patch area. Our group accomplished the task of watering the garden and pulling a lot of small weeds from various areas in the garden. The next group should finish pulling the weeds to get rid of them and they should keep watering the garden for the plants to grow. The harvest should be shared with all those who helped in the garden.

day i worked April 26, 2013
garden group party response-1
observation- before we started working the garden had allot of weeds and it was very messy and over grown looking. it had allot of dead leaves especially the shuger cane. their were allot of things to be done
individual work- i worked on putting down the fresh mulch with Mr Mendoza and also picking up the weeds and throwing them away in the garbage also taking the cut shuger cane to the dumpster.
what the next group should do- they should just keep the garden clean maintained and not let it get over grown again do lots of watering.
harvest- we should Keep it and eat it all up! or save it and give it to people who need or want it.
