Aloha and Welcome to a new school year at SAS. The 2012-2013 garden blog is beginning this week-September 17-21, 2012. We have officially had the first Biology and Biology Honors garden group-Garden Group 1 do work today in the garden. So check out their pictures and what they have to say about the progess of the garden.

Garden Group Work (Group 1)

People who worked in the garden: Vanessa
Date: May 7, 2012
Time: 3:00-3:30pm
Observations: There seems to be a bunch of weeds near the banana trees.
Individual work: Helped mix the compost, water the banana trees, basil, and sugar cane, and pulled out weeds near the banana trees.
Work accomplished as a group: Please see above.
Work that should be done by the next group: Continue the weeding, mix the compost again, and water the plants including the newly planted strawberries and tomato plants.
What should we harvest: Nothing is currently in need of harvesting.
